Creating Storage Profiles
Using different input variables, you
can use the
Automation Assembler
IaaS API to
create storage profiles for AWS, vSphere, or Azure cloud accounts.A
Automation Assembler
storage profile
describes the kind of storage to be deployed. Storage is usually profiled according to
characteristics such as service level or cost, performance, or purpose, such as backup. As a cloud administrator, you organize your
storage profiles under cloud-specific regions. One cloud account can have multiple regions,
with multiple storage profiles under each. Using a storage profile, you define your storage
for the region.
Storage profiles include disk customizations, and
a means of identifying the type of storage by capability tags. Tags are matched against
provisioning service request constraints to create the desired storage at deployment time.
