Configuring the Deployment Widget
To view the
VMware Aria Automation
deployments on the Service Portal, the ServiceNow system administrator must add the VMware Aria Automation
deployment widget on a Service Portal page.- You must be the system administrator in ServiceNow.
- The application scope must be set to Global.
- The VMware Aria Automation plug-in Service Portal Prefix value must be the same as the Service Portal prefix value on your instance. See Setting Up the Service Portal Prefix.
- Log in to ServiceNow as a system administrator.
- In the left pane, click.
- ClickDesigner.The Service Portal Designer page opens with a list of all the available pages.
- Search forindex, and then open theHome Page.
- Select the required column to insert the widget.
- On the top right, clickEdit.
- Ensure that the minimum width size for the column is as follows:ScreenSizexs12sm12md6lg6
- ClickSave.
- On the left pane, in theFilter Widgetstext box, search forCAS_SP_deployments.
- Drag and drop the widget to the column.If the is registered andVMware Aria Automationrequired roles are assigned, theVMware Aria Automationdeployments will display. See Adding the ServiceNow User Roles.TheVMware Aria AutomationDeployments widget is displayed on the Service Portal home page with the five most recent deployments with their status.
