Add Clusters from Existing Hosts

You can create clusters and relocate your hosts from existing clusters to the new cluster.
  • The SDDC must be activated.
  • The SDDC must have at least six hosts.
  1. Log in to the VMware Cloud Services Console at https://console.cloud.vmware.com/csp/gateway/discovery.
  2. Launch the
    VMware Cloud on Dell
    service.
  3. Click the SDDC name or expand your SDDC and click
    View Details
    .
    If you have multiple SDDCs, you can Search Your SDDC.
  4. On the
    Summary
     tab,
    Capacity and Usage
     card, click
    Add Cluster
    .
    The
    Add cluster from existing hosts
     page appears.
  5. Select the number of hosts you want to move to the new cluster.
  6. Select an existing cluster from where you want to move the hosts.
  7. Review the cluster details and click
    Confirm & Add Cluster
    .
A new cluster is created with the specified number of hosts.
