Create a Data Source Choice in ServiceNow

The

uses Identification and Reconcile Engine which requires to have discovery source element for the application.

You must be the system administrator in ServiceNow.

Set the application scope to

Global

In the left pane, go to

System Definition > Choice Lists

Click

New

Select the

Table

Configuration Item [cmdb_ci]

In the

Element

text box, enter the value as

discovery_source

In the

Label

and

Value

text boxes, enter

ITSM 8.x

Click

Submit

to create a data source choice.
