cluster. In an SDDC that has more than one eligible cluster, you activate
from each cluster
card in the VMC 콘솔
Alternatively, you can activate
by accessing your
SDDC from the Launchpad. See Access your SDDC from the Launchpad to Activate.
- Log in to theVMware Cloud on Dell EMCconsole at https://vmc.vmware.com.
- On theSoftware-Defined Data Centers (SDDC)page, clickSDDCsand select an SDDC where you want to activate .If the SDDC has more than one eligible cluster, you activate from any of the cluster cards in theVMC 콘솔. Otherwise, activation begins on theCapacity and Usageview of the SDDCSummary.
- On the cluster card or theCapacity and Usageview, clickACTIONSand selectActivate Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.VMware Cloud on Dell EMCchecks the cluster to be sure that it meets requirements for activating
- Configure the Tanzu Workload Management Network.
- Specify the following workload network CIDR blocks for the cluster:
- Service CIDR
- Pod CIDR
- Ingress CIDR
- Egress CIDR
For more information, see Preparing Your SDDC for Activation - ClickVALIDATE AND PROCEEDto validate that the CIDR blocks you have specified are valid for this SDDC.
- Review and activate.Upon successful validation, the system displays the validated CIDR blocks and details of the Tanzu cluster that will be created. ClickActivate Tanzu Kubernetes Gridto create this cluster and allocate the CIDR blocks. The SDDC Summary page shows that isActivating. The system displays a status message showing the cluster name and the time that activation started. When activation completes, the SDDC Summary page shows that isActivated.
