GenerateSystemLogBundle
This method instructs the server to generate a system log bundle. A log bundle
includes log files and other configuration information that can be used to investigate
failures. The bundle can be retrieved with calls to
retrieveSystemLogBundle(String,
long, long)
method. The Site Recovery Manager maintains five outstanding bundles. This method returns
Configuration Task object that can be used to monitor the operation.

method returns the current task

ConfigurationTask.getTaskInfo
returns
SystemLogBundleInfo
. It has the following fields:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
key | The unique key for this bundle. |
type | The type of the file generated by the
Diagnostics Manager. The value can be either "zip", "gz", or
"txt". This value is used by the client to construct a file with
the proper extension. |
timeCreated | The date and time when the bundle was
generated. This is the local server time in UTC. |
size | The size in bytes of the diagnostic bundle
file. |
md5 | The MD5 checksum for the bundle file. Can be
used to verify its contents after page assembly using
retrieveSystemLogBundle(String, long,
long) . |
url | The URL to download the bundle. |
