Modify Application Scope

By default,

VMware Aria Operations for Networks

analyzes flows for a period of seven days to discover flow based applications. If you want to change the default preference, then you can change the duration and scope of the discovery as per your requirement.

On the

Discover Applications

page, in the

Scope

bar of the

Flows

tab, click

Edit Discovery

In the

Edit Discovery

window, select

Discovery Scope

From the

Scope

drop-down menu, select your preferred scope. If you want to discover applications based on entities, select

Entities

from the drop-down menu, select an entity type, and provide the entity names.

From the

Duration

drop-down menu, select your preferred duration.

Click

Submit
