GCP Compute: CE Dashboard

Using the
GCP Compute: CE
 dashboard you can manage the network, memory, and CPU utilization of your CE Instances.
The
GCP Compute: CE
 dashboard helps you monitor the health of all your CE Instances in the GCP inventory and filter them based on projects and regions. This dashboard displays the active and the total number of CE Instances. You can also view the size of the instances and their CPU, network, and memory utilization and distribution at the GCP World level.
The
GCP Compute: CE
 dashboard displays the top 10 CE Instances with the highest and the lowest CPU, network, and memory utilization and distribution at the GCP World level. You can filter this information and view it based on projects and regions per project.
The
GCP Compute: CE
 dashboard helps you answer several key questions:
  • How many CE Instances are there?
  • How many CE Instances are running or shut down?
  • What alerts are being generated for the CE Instances?
  • What are the key metrics for a specific CE Instance?

How to Use the Dashboard?

The
GCP Compute: CE
 dashboard displays the project names, available regions, CE Instances by size, and the total number of CE Instances at the GCP World level. It also displays the top ten CE Instances with the highest and lowest CPU utilization and CPU distribution, the top ten CE Instances with the highest and lowest network bandwidth and network distribution, and the top ten CE Instances with the highest and lowest memory usage and distribution. You can also view the CE Instances according to their power state and duration for which were running and view the alerts for the CE Instances. You can also view the list of CE Instances with key metrics at the GCP world level.
  • Projects
     widget: Displays the total number of GCP projects being monitored at the GCP World level. Select a project from the table to refresh the dashboard and view the CE Instance information for the specific project.
  • Regions
     widget: Select a region to filter the displayed information and view the data for CE Instances per region.
  • CE Instances with Key Metrics
     widget: Displays the list of CE Instances with key metrics at the GCP World level. The list of CE Instances gets updated according to the project and region you select. Select a CE Instance to view its key details, CPU utilization, network bandwidth, and memory usage for a particular CE Instance.
  • Alert List
     widget: Displays alerts based on the project and region you select. Click the alert name to view the details of the alert.
