SCSI SMART Statistics SMART data collection is disabled by default. To enable SMART data collection, ensure that the Enable SMART data collection instance identifier is set to true. For proper data collection, ensure that ESXi hosts in your vCenter Server inventory have CIM service enabled and CIM providers for each SMART metric installed.
