Edit a content endpoint in

You can edit the settings of an existing content endpoint by using the Content Management service in

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle

You can edit content endpoint values other than the name, which is used by various logs.

When

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle

deploys a

VMware Aria Automation

instance or a

VMware Aria Automation

instance is imported into

VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle

, the content management services import content endpoints automatically through a data collection process. Because all policies are deactivated, you must edit each endpoint and assign appropriate content policies. Only certain user roles can edit content endpoints. For more information on roles, see Content actions.

On the

My Services

dashboard, click

Content Management

Under

Endpoints

, click the vertical ellipses to the left of the endpoint and then click

Edit

Edit the endpoint details you want to change and click

Edit the endpoint policy settings you want to change and click

Verify that the content endpoint details are correct and click

Submit
