Download log bundles for
VMware Data Services Manager
 solutions

You can create, download, and delete log bundles for
VMware Data Services Manager MySQL
 and
VMware Data Services Manager Postgres
 instances.
You can access log bundles of deleted instances from
Archives
Log Bundles
.
  1. Log in to
    VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions
     from
    VMware Cloud Director
    .
  2. Click
    Instances
    , then select the solution instance for which you want to download a log bundle.
  3. In the
    Log Bundles
     tab, click
    Create Log Bundle
    .
  4. Enter the log bundle name and retention period, then click
    Save
    .
    The log collection process might take a few minutes.
  5. When the log bundle reaches status
    Ready
    , select it, then click
    Download
    .
  6. (Optional) If you want to delete the log bundle, select it, then click
    Delete
    .
