Assign a Virtual IP Address to Global Manager Cluster

To provide fault tolerance and high availability to Global Manager nodes, assign a virtual IP address (VIP) to the Global Manager cluster in
VMware Cloud Foundation
.
  1. In a web browser, log in to a Global Manager node at https://
    gm_node_1-fqdn
    /.
  2. Click 
    System
    and then select
    Global Manager Appliances
    .
  3. Click
    Set Virtual IP
    and enter the VIP address for the cluster. Ensure that VIP is part of the same subnet as the other management nodes.
  4. Click
    Save
    .
  5. Verify that the VIP is working correctly.
    From a browser, log in to the Global Manager using the virtual IP address assigned to the cluster at https://
