Configure Data Center and vCenter Server in
vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager
Before you can create a global
environment for product deployments, you must add a cross-instance data center and the
associated management domain

.- In a web browser, log in tovRealize Suite Lifecycle Managerwith thevcfadmin@localuser by using the user interface (https://<vrslcm_fqdn>).
- On theMy Servicespage, clickLifecycle Operations.
- In the navigation pane, clickDatacenters.
- ClickAdd datacenter, enter the values for the global data center, and clickSave.SettingValueDatacenter nameName for cross-instance datacenterUse custom locationDeactivatedLocationLocation of datacenter
- Add the management domainvCenter Serverto the global data center.
- On theDatacenterspage, expand the global data center and clickAdd vCenter.
- Enter the management domainvCenter Serverinformation and clickValidate.SettingValuevCenter nameEnter a name for thevCenter ServervCenter FQDNEnter the FQDN of thevCenter ServervCenter credentialsSelect thecredential. For example:<management_vcenter_name>-<uuid>vcenter-1-35214fac-caeb-4062-a184-350344e30c7f.vCenter typeManagement
- After the successfulvCenter Servervalidation, clickSave.
- In the navigation pane, clickRequestsand verify that the state of thevCenter data collection requestisCompleted.
