Tanzu GemFire on Cloud Foundry v2.1.0:

• Runs VMware Tanzu GemFire 10.1.1
• Requires the Jammy 1.423 stemcell or a more recent version
• Uses JDK 11.0.23
• Supports VMware Tanzu Platform on Cloud Foundry versions 10.0, 6.0, 5.0, 4.0, 2.13

The Tanzu GemFire for Redis Apps extension has been removed and is no longer supported.

There is a bug with Routing Release version 0.296.0 that causes inconsistent behavior when using Tanzu GemFire on Cloud Foundry v2.1.0 and Tanzu Application Service versions 4.0.27 - 4.0.30, 6.0.7 - 6.0.10.

New Features

This release includes the following new features:

• Support added for the GemFire Vector Database Extension: The GemFire VectorDB extension 1.1.0 is now included.
• Support added for VM Extensions: Support for VM Extensions have been added for global and individual plans.
• You can set the number of locators per plan: This release adds the ability to set the number of locators per plan for non-co-located plans.

Additional Changes

This release includes the following additional changes:

• Removed the GemFire for Redis Apps Extension: The GemFire for Redis Apps Extension is no longer supported and has been removed from the Tanzu GemFire on Cloud Foundry tile.
• GemFire Search Extension Updated from version 1.0.0 to 1.1.0: With the current version of Tanzu GemFire on Cloud Foundry, GemFire Search Extension has been updated to 1.1.0 from its previous version of 1.0.0.
• GemFire Session Management Extension Support 1.0.1: Session Management Extension support has been added with this release of Tanzu GemFire on Cloud Foundry.
