VMware provides a separate downloadable package with the following components:

• gpbackup utility
• gprestore utility
• gpbackup_manager utility
• Backup plugins for DD Boost and S3

Each Tanzu Greenplum backup and restore package is versioned independently of Greenplum Database, but is backwards-compatible with earlier versions of Greenplum Database. See the Release Notes for additional compatibility information.
