Add SDDC Locations
Select the location where you want to deploy the SDDC.
- Log in to the VMware Cloud Services Console at https://console.cloud.vmware.com/csp/gateway/discovery.
- Click theVMware Cloud on Dell EMCservice.
- ClickOrder SDDC.
- Enter the following information underLocation Details:
- Country where the rack needs to be shipped.
- SDDC name.
- The address of the location where you want to install the rack.
- UnderContact Details, enter the details of your primary contact person, network administrator, cloud administrator, and site manager.The contact persons are responsible for confirming the order, verifying the order details before shipment, coordinating the hardware arrival and installation, and SDDC activation onsite. VMware contacts any of these persons for verifying the details before shipping the hardware and during the shipment until the hardware is delivered and installed at your location.
- (Optional) ClickAdd 1 More Optional Contactto enter the details of an alternate contact person, if necessary.
- (Optional) You can provide additional information about the location underNotes.
- ClickSave and continueto save the details.
The SDDC you created is listed in the
SDDCs
page.You can edit the contact details and
notes after placing the order. To edit the details, on the
SDDCs
page, click the .After you create the locations,
you can order the SDDC immediately or later.
