Manage the
Kubernetes
 Operator

The
VMware Cloud Director Data Solutions operator
 that runs on the provider
Kubernetes
 cluster is the control plane of the
VMware Data Services Manager
 integration.

Update the API Token

You can update the API token that you used when setting up the
VMware Data Services Manager
 integration once it expires.
  1. Log in to
    VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions
     from
    VMware Cloud Director
    .
  2. Navigate to
    DSM Integration
    .
  3. In the
    Kubernetes Operator
     tab, click
    Update API token
    .
  4. (Optional) If you installed the Kubernetes Operator on a vSphere Kubernetes Service cluster, follow the instructions to update the API token version.
  5. Enter the new token details, then click 
    Confirm
    .

Update the VMware Cloud Director Data Solutions Operator

You can update the
VMware Cloud Director Data Solutions operator
 to a later version.
  1. Log in to
    VMware Cloud Director extension for Data Solutions
     from
    VMware Cloud Director
    .
  2. Update the repository version of the
    VMware Cloud Director Data Solutions operator
     repository. See Update a repository.
  3. Navigate to
    DSM Integration
    .
  4. In the
    Kubernetes Operator
     tab, click
    Update Operator Version
    .
  5. Enter the desired operator version, then click
    Confirm
    .
