Remove a CD/DVD
Drive
You can remove a
physical or virtual CD/DVD drive from your virtual machine.
Shut down or power off the
virtual machine. You cannot change the setting while the virtual machine is
powered on or suspended.

- Select a virtual machine in theVirtual Machine Librarywindow and clickSettings.
- Under Removable Devices in theSettingswindow, click the CD/DVD drive to remove.
- Under Advanced options, clickRemove CD/DVD Drive.
