World Map

This topic describes the Worldview Map view in GemFire Management Console.

The World Map view in Tanzu GemFire Management Console offers a visual representation of your clusters on a global map. This feature is available exclusively for clusters running GemFire 10.1 or higher. By mapping the clusters based on their reported timezone locations, the World Map view provides an intuitive way to understand the geographical distribution and interconnections of your clusters. If clusters are connected, the map will display lines linking them, offering a clear overview of the network’s topology.

It’s important to note that the location of each cluster on the map is determined by the timezone reported by GemFire. If multiple clusters share the same timezone, their markers may appear too close together, potentially impacting the accuracy of the display. In cases where precise differentiation is needed, especially in regions that operate on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), users may need to zoom in or consider other views for detailed analysis.
