Install the Tanzu Platform Developer Tools plug-in for IntelliJ

This topic tells you how to install the Tanzu Platform Developer Tools plug-in for IntelliJ.

Download and install the plug-in

You can download the plug-in tanzu-platform-developer-tools-0.2.4.zip file from the Broadcom Support Portal.

  • Open the settings and then click Plugins.
  • On the Plugins page, click the Settings icon Settings icon and then click Install Plugin from Disk.
  • Select the downloaded plug-in archive file and click OK.
  • Restart the IDE when prompted.

The Tanzu Platform Developer Tools plug-in uses an Accelerator Local Server engine when listing and generating accelerators. This Accelerator Local Server engine starts automatically unless it is already running as a separate process. For more information, see Install and run the local server engine as a separate process.
