Create an IP Group
You create an IP group, add
servers to the IP group, and attach these servers to the service engine. The service engine
uses the Virtual IP address (VIP) to forward the data traffic to the servers, which are part of the IP
group.
The IP groups are comma-separated lists
of IP addresses you can reference by profiles, policies, and logs. Since the same
servers are used as pool
members in two different pools, you can attach IP groups to the pool rather than
directly attaching servers to the pool. If there any configuration changes to the
pool members such as addition or removal of servers, you must make these changes at
the IP Group level.
- In the management console, navigate to .
- Enter the IP Group Name and IP addresses of the servers.
- ClickSave.
