Create an IP Group

You create an IP group, add
servers to the IP group, and attach these servers to the service engine. The service engine uses the Virtual IP address (VIP) to forward the data traffic to the
servers, which are part of the IP group.
The IP groups are comma-separated lists of IP addresses you can reference by profiles, policies, and logs. Since the same
servers are used as pool members in two different pools, you can attach IP groups to the pool rather than directly attaching servers to the pool. If there any configuration changes to the pool members such as addition or removal of servers, you must make these changes at the IP Group level.
  1. In the
    management console, navigate to
    Templates
    Groups
    .
  2. Enter the IP Group Name and IP addresses of the
    servers.
  3. Click
    Save
    .
